Non Rising Stem VS Rising Stem
Gate valve are widely used in different industries, it is a kind of valve that medium connection and shut- off but not suitable for regulating.
According to the screw position of the stem, there are rising stem gate valves and non-rising stem gate valves.
What is the difference between rising stem gate valve and non rising stem valve
The rising stem gate valve is driven by the thread transmission between the valve stem and the handwheel. Rotation of stem nut drives stems up and down when opening or closing gate valve.The stem is exposed which can be seen directly.
When non rising stem gate valve is switched on and off, the handwheel and the valve stem are connected together and are relatively stationary. It is through the rotation of the valve stem at a fixed point to drive the valve disc to lift up and down to complete the opening and closing.
