Gate valves can be divided into hard seal gate valves and soft seal gate valves depending on the seat material; the different seat materials determine the characteristics of the gate valves and the different media and conditions they can be applied, they have their own characteristics and are widely used.
The gate valve operates in the direction of clockwise closure or clockwise opening. Suitable for potable water and neutral liquids up to 70°C. For temperatures of 70°C, DN 300-600, operated by manual handwheel/gearbox or electric actuator.DN ≥ 700 and above, operated by a gearbox or actuator.

The valve flaps are fully encapsulated and integrally vulcanized with wesdom's own EPDM synthetic rubber, certified by WRAS for drinking water. These features give the valve excellent durability due to the rubber's compression resilience, the double-bonded vulcanization process, and the sturdy valve design. Soft seal gate valves with flanged ends for potable water and neutral liquids up to a maximum temperature of 70°C.
(1) Fixed integral flap nut with anti-vibration feature ensures long-lasting durability of the valve

(4) The gate has a large through-hole and as the core is not hollow, water or impurities cannot collect and cause contamination
(5) Triple secure stem sealing system consisting of an NBR dust ring, two NBR O-ring protection, and two EPDM main seal gaskets
(6) PTFE-coated circular stainless steel thrust ring provides low operating torque for the valve
(7) Removable gland flange for in-line replacement of the spool sealing system in case of insufficient pressure
(8) A round rubber cap gasket is placed in the recess of the cap to prevent wash-out due to pressure surges
